'Ruru Meet & Greet'
Get up close with a ruru morepork owl, the cute and enigmatic ninja of our ngahere and a true icon of nighttime New Zealand. Enjoy chatting with the entertaining and informative trainers and be captivated by this mysterious and charming taonga of Aotearoa.
Duration: 30 minutes Times available: Thursday-Sunday @ 1:00pm Minimum age: 12+ years Price: $200 for 1-2 people.

'Barn Owl Meet & Greet'
Experience an encounter with a barn owl and gaze upon the ethereal face of our newest native raptor. Pick the brains of the trainers who research and work so closely with these fascinating birds and learn about how they came to be in Aotearoa New Zealand. You’ll be absolutely enchanted.

Discover just how bold, clever and curious they are as you chat with our knowledgeable trainers. Delve into the world of falconry and learn about how this ancient sport is helping the conservation of this rare species.

Behind-the-Scenes Experiences are non-refundable and non-transferable. Should a refund be provided at Wingspan's discretion, an administration fee of $25 will be applied.
